By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What The App Does
The App is a personal fishing journal and analysis tool.
The App allows you to log and record fishing catches, add notes and tags, upload photos, view reports and filter your catch history, and access weather, tide and marine data provided by third-party suppliers.
2. Important Safety Notice
The App is not a navigation tool.
Do not rely on it for marine navigation, safety decisions, emergency planning, or life-critical information.
Weather, tide and marine data comes from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.
You are responsible for your own safety at all times. Always use official forecasts, marine charts and proper navigation equipment.
3. Your Data & Privacy
Your fishing logs, tags and photos are stored only on your device. They are not stored on our servers and are not accessed or sold by us.
If you delete the App, your data will be permanently lost. We recommend exporting your data regularly.
Location & Conditions Data
To provide weather, tide and marine information, the App uses your device location while you are using the App.
Only approximate (coarse) location data is transmitted to third-party weather and marine data providers in order to retrieve relevant conditions.
Location data is used solely for app functionality, is not linked to your identity, and is not stored by us.
Weather and marine data may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.
4. Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are purchased through your app store provider and may auto-renew unless cancelled. They can be managed or cancelled through your app store account and are subject to your app store’s payment and refund rules.
By purchasing a subscription, you confirm you are legally allowed to do so.
5. Availability & Changes
The App is provided “as is”.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, accurate, or continuously supported.
We may update, change or discontinue features at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, attempt to copy or reverse engineer it, or interfere with its operation.
You are responsible for complying with local fishing laws and regulations.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranties.
We are not responsible for loss of data, inaccurate weather or marine data, financial loss, or indirect damages arising from use of the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
8. Legal Information
By using the App, you confirm you are legally allowed to do so. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Continued use of the App means you accept any updates to these Terms.
